“April 6” Hijacking of Chinese Staff along with their Landcruiser


Dear Sir,

The subject incident happened at about 21:00 on 6 April 2004 when the Deputy Project Manager of Our Company XXXX, Mr. A, was driving his Landcruiser No.13-IDH-XXXX along with the Accountant Ms. B on the way of shortcut to Atk City (Brt. – Atk. Transformer Station – Atk. City) for shopping. They were stopped and hijacked by a group of armed gangster at the place of 1.5 Km away from Brt.

“There were about 7-8 armed gangsters stopped us. They broke up the windshield and robbed our vehicle…” said the victim Mr. A and Ms. B.  A was injured by the gunstock beating at his head. Further, the kidnappers back tied both of A and B with blocking of their ears and mouth.  Afterwards, they were hijacked into a corn field with covering of their heads by the kidnappers. The whole course of hijacking lasted for about 6 hours long up to the next morning about 4:00 April 7 2004 when Mr. A and Ms. B unhitched themselves.

We have reported this case to the Atk. Police Station and it is now still under investigation by Atk. Policemen.

We shall keep you informed with further detailed information. In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to request the Employer to push the concerned authorities to solve this case ASAP and enhance the public order.
